Are you ready to get to know some friends on a little deeper level, where there can be support, encouragement and accountability as you grow in Christ?  A small group may be the right place for you.  There are over 40 small groups at the eFree Church to choose from.  Here are some examples:

Small Groups Associated with Your Adult Bible Fellowship

Many adults first choose an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF), which is a mid-sized group of 25-60 people, to get to know more people over time.  When they feel comfortable, they may be ready to join a small group to dig in a little deeper.  Each ABF has small groups within their ABF.  Joining one of these groups allows you to continue getting to know people in your own ABF community.  It also provides support, encouragement and accountability through deeper relationships.  These groups usually meet twice a month at a member's home.  Group members also see each other on Sundays during the ABF hour.

Small Affinity-Based Groups

We offer small groups for men, for women, for seniors, for high school students, etc.  Some groups meet during the day at the church facility. Others meet in the evening or on the weekend in homes.

Small Groups for Discipleship

If you desire a higher-commitment, full-discipleship process, we offer groups that dig in at that deeper Bible learning level.  Women's Precept Bible Studies, Men's Fraternity, D-Group (Student Ministries) and other groups meet weekly or bi-weekly and have specific homework requirements.

Small Groups for Fellowship

Perhaps you're not ready for deeper Bible study but want to be part of a group that meets for fellowship or specific activities.  There are many of these groups to choose from, including Dinners for 6 to 8 that meet monthly in homes, groups for specific crafts such as scrapbooking or knitting, and groups that read and discuss a Christian book.  If you are logged into this site, you can see the list of current offerings (must be a regular attender with a user name and password).

Men's, Women's, Singles, Marrieds etc.

Many of our groups are specifically for men, women, singles, marrieds, etc.

Small Groups for Biblical Seekers

Perhaps you are checking out the claims of Jesus Christ and have not yet  received His gift of salvation.  A Seeker Group may be just the place you're looking for.  These groups are a mixture of seasoned followers of Christ and those seeking to know more about Christianity, the Bible, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

How do I get involved in a small group?

Many groups are open and are regularly listed in church publications.  For those groups you may simply show up and join in.

Care Groups affiliated with a specific ABF can be joined through that ABF.  Simply let your leader or elder know of your interest and they will introduce you to the small group leader, often right on Sunday morning during the ABF time.

Many groups have an informal joining process.  Simply contact the leader and arrange to come and check out the group.

If you have a user name and password (obtained from the church office if you are a regular attender at the church) you can click here for the current list of small group offerings.  Although this list is updated monthly, dates or locations may be changed for various reasons, so please verify the information for accuracy.  Also note if a group is open or closed.  Closed groups are either temporarily full or may be closed only for a specific period of time for accountability reasons.  Even if a group is closed, you can contact the leader to be placed on a waiting list.

Feel free to contact the church office for assistance if needed.
