When you walk through the door on Sunday morning, you'll be greeted by church family members who want you to feel welcome and at ease.
You'll find two Welcome Centers (near each main door facing the parking lot). Friendly people can provide you with information and direct you toward appropriate rooms according to your and your family's needs.
If you attend our traditional service (8:00am in the sanctuary), you'll find a reflective environment with worship accompanied by a combination of piano, organ, strings, handbells and choir. The congregation sings hymns and time-tested praise choruses. Men generally wear business casual clothing with a few wearing ties. Women typically wear dresses or slacks.
If you choose one of our two contemporary services (9:30am and 11:00am in the gym) you'll find an energetic environment with people greeting friends prior to the start of the service. Worship features a rhythm section band (guitar, bass, drums, keys, etc.), a worship-leading team, and songs written primarily within the last 10 years. Both men and women will be dressed in anything from blue jeans to business casual.
All three services feature teaching directly from the Bible in expositional style (passage-by-passage study). Most people will bring their own Bible, but you may also use a Bible from the pew rack (sanctuary) or borrow one from the cart by the door (gym).
Sunday evening activities are varied and include programs such as:
Childcare for Babies/Toddlers thru Kindergarten is available during all three morning services as well as during the evening program.
Children's Church for grades 1-3 is offered during the 8am service.
Sunday School for grades 4 thru senior high is held during the 9:30am service.
During the 11:00 service, children in grades 1-6 may choose Children's Church or participate in the Praise Express children's musical drama team.
Senior high students meet in Café 19 during the 9:30 period, while junior high students meet during the same time period across the hall.
Adult Bible Fellowships are offered both at 9:30 and 11:00 as well as other times during the week. |
